Toy Story Halloween Costumes – How To Find Your Perfect Outfit

The popularity of these toy characters was so overwhelming that websites and stores began marketing the Toy Story 3 costumes and these were an incredible success. At Halloween and parties for children or adults you would always find one of these characters.

When the movie came out in 1995 no one knew Sheriff Woody. No one knew that Buzz Lightyear would try to supplant him in the eyes and love of Andy. That evil menace, jealousy enters the stage. In trying to get rid of Buzz, they both disappear but must find a way back before Andy moves without them. Buzz and Woody form an alliance to get home trying to avoid the toy killer, Sid Phillips.

In the one released in 1999 an evil toy collector kidnaps Woody and Buzz comes to the rescue. Woody has an arm broken off in this story but he is able to have it repaired. After many adventures Woody and Buzz are returned safe and sound to Andy.

The release date for the number three version is this year. The anticipated date is probably during the summer of 2010. The toys have new adventures however Andy is going to college so he may not be around.

At the moment toy story costumes that are available are Sheriff Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Cowgirl Jessie, Rex, Bo Peep, Alien, and the Green Army Man. Some of these are available for all three groups of client, toddlers, children, and adults. There are some items not included in the different packages such as bandannas, hats, and guns.

Most of them are washable as the material is polyester. The package usually comprises of a jumpsuit and then there are optional items like makeup and footwear. As an example for a Buzz Lightyear costume you will receive a jumpsuit, a hood that is detachable, a jet pack, glowsticks, and boot covers. All of these are quite realistic and fun to wear.

To be Woody, you wear a red bandanna and a super vest with a black satin back and a star attached to the vest. There is a long sleeve shirt with lovely buttons that have a pearly look. Included in this package is a pair of jeans with an elastic at the back of the waist and an incredible pair of faux suede chaps attached to the jeans. To complete this outfit just buy the hat and the belt and holster.

For Cowgirl Jessie you receive that jumpsuit with western belt affixed to it. Then you can put on your cow-print chaps and cuffs. Do not forget the red hat and hair bow. Those wonderful cowgirl boots are not part of this package but can be purchased separately.

The Bo Beep character has a pink and blue dress, blue bloomers, with a hat and staff. The shoes are not included. Since there is trim on the other items it is best to spot clean this outfit.

The costume that is a blue polyester jumpsuit closing in the back with Velcro is made for the Alien. The Pizza Planet Logo is printed on the chest of the suit. A zany mask with three eyes, ears and antenna is included in this package.

The success of these movies has spawned the astonishing lucrative market for the outfits that the toys wear. Possibly the new release will present us with new Toy Story costumes. Some of the outfits for the new toys are already being marketed.
