Chocolate Toads – Tasty Candy Critters

Here is another one one of our Halloween recipes for you to enjoy – Chocolate Toads!

Chocolate goodies are a must for the occasion so you better have at least one recipe for it. Also, you should remember to make enough of them as adults and kids alike love these sweet treats.

Ingredients:

• ½ cup of chocolate chips (brown or black)
• 2 tsp. of butter
• 30 gummy frogs

Instructions:

Using a double boiler, melt the chocolate chips and butter together. When totally integrated, use a clean brush and lightly apply the mixture onto the top of the gummy frogs. Carefully place them onto a wax paper-lined sheet and let dry. Once they are dry, put them in an airtight container. When serving time comes, you can just label the container with some goofy handwriting or better yet, line up the frog on a tray.
