Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Put On, Fun To Wear, Looks great Best Uses: Costume Parties, Halloween, Just For Fun, Renaissance Festival Describe Yourself: Adventurous, Bargain Shopper Was this a gift?: No Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I usually wear a size 16, so I was prepared for some extra fabric. It was easy to hem the sleeves & bodice. This dress was made for a woman who is 5'6", so I had to hem the front of the gown too. Not a problem, but be prepared for tailoring & modifications. Price was great. The gold ribbon that is laced through the front of the dress was very stiff, and looked & felt scratchy & cheap. A few yards of satiny cord from the fabric store was a huge & inexpensive improvement. With the hemming & modifications, I am very happy with my purchase.

Pros: Authentic Looking, Unique Best Uses: Costume Party, Just For Fun Describe Yourself: Classic Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Purchased for a medieval banquet; very pretty color and can adjust bodice to fit; the upper arms are very tight at the top and was almost a problem for me. I bought a plus size and I usually wear a size 14. The regular size would have been impossible for me to have my arms go through at the top.
